Delete your account

You can request deletion of your NSTAR Gym app account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains how.

How to request deletion

1. Email us from the same email address registered on your account.
2. Use the subject line: Account deletion request.
3. We will confirm by email when your request is received and when deletion is complete.

What we delete

After we verify your request, we delete or anonymise personal data linked to your account, including:

• Account profile (name, email, phone, date of birth)
• Emergency contact and medical notes you provided in the app
• Booking history and waitlist entries associated with your account
• Push notification tokens

What we may keep

We may retain certain information where we are legally required or have a legitimate business need, for example:

• Signed waiver records and safety-related information
• Billing and subscription records held by our payment provider (Stripe)
• Records needed for tax, accounting, or dispute resolution

Retained data is kept only as long as necessary and is not used for marketing.

Timing

We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request. Active Stripe subscriptions should be cancelled in the app under Profile → Membership & Billing before deletion, or tell us in your email and we will cancel them as part of the process.

Before you delete

• Deletion is permanent — you will need to sign up again to use the app.
• Download or save any information you need before requesting deletion.
• If you only want to cancel membership, you may not need to delete your whole account — see Support.
